- Characteristics of Shape

Named after its resemblance to the color of pine tree nodes, the trout has black spots on its back and tail fin. Its body figure is similar to that of a salmon, but it is thicker, more circular, and flatter in the side. Its mouth is relatively blunt as well. Its body color is dark navy in the back, silver in the belly, and has a dark brown spot in the trunk. During its breeding season, the male's mouth becomes extended and an irregular pattern of peach color appears on each side. The body length is about 60cm.
